Register in advance (highly recommended) or drop by our stall on the RCOT stand to book a brief RCOT Library induction and orientation session. This will provide you with practical advice about accessing occupational therapy and related e-books, e-journals, e-theses, databases and the RCOT Library catalogue via RCOT’s website.

Learn where to find new materials and information to support you in your evidence-based practice, service, delivery, education, research and continued professional development, wherever and whenever you need it.

Please note this is not an enquiry or literature search session; there will be an enquiry sheet if you wish to request a specific service or have a question.

Learn simple ways to keep up-to-date easily with OT, health and social care developments;

Find direct ways to access e-journal articles, and our etheses and theses collections, to search the Library catalogue, databases and e-book platforms, and to request support in your literature searches with more ease, confidence, speed and effectiveness;

Know where to access self-help guidance e.g. on using, browsing, searching the RCOT Library collection, or undertaking literature ejournal article searches;

Know how to contact RCOT Library staff to help you with your information enquiries.

How: Bookings are taken on a first-come first-served basis. A limited number of places are available so please book early to avoid disappointment.
